Kessler
Kennel offers overnight boarding for pets of every breed, size, and
temperament. Our guests recieve exceptional care with plenty of exercise,
playtime, and socialization with people and other dogs.
Boarding
can be as short as an overnight stay or as long as a month... or even
more. In any case, your pet will be treated as if he or she were part
of our family. Hugs, kisses, and belly rubs are all part of our nurturing
environment. Summertime spent swimming in the wading pools, rolling
in the green grass, and lounging in the shade sounds like a great
vacation to anyone, even your pet!
What
makes Kessler Kennel standout from other kennels is our beautiful
5 acre ranch-like setting. All guests have access to the outdoor areas
four times a day for at least 30 minutes each session, depending on
weather conditions. Sociable dogs are "mixed" together in
our 2 acre pasture during playtime, supervised at all times by 2 or
more staff members. For those who do not do well in large groups,
we create small playgroups with 2-4 dogs of similar temperaments,
age, and size. Our smaller grassy and peastone areas accomodate these
groups.

7:30~8:00 am - Morning Outdoor Playtime
8:15~8:45 am - Back Inside for Breakfast
8:45~10:00 - Kennel Cleaning & Individual / Small Group Time
10:00~11:00 am - Late Morning Outdoor Playtime
11:00~3:30 pm - Snacks & Afternoon Naptime
3:30~4:00 pm - Afternoon Outdoor Playtime
4:15~5:00 pm - Back Inside for Dinner
5:00~5:45 pm - Clean Up & Individual / Small Group Time
6:00~7:00 pm - Evening Outdoor Playtime
7:00 pm - Snacks & Tucked in for the night
While
indoors, each guest has their own climate-controlled kennel with access
to an outdoor run. Kennel sizes range from 3.5 x 4 feet to 5 x 5 feet.
For small dogs, puppies, or crate-trained pets we offer small, medium,
and large size crates.
Meals
are served twice daily with a snack/naptime during the afternoon.
Kennels are cleaned every morning - blankets & beds are shaken
out or changed/washed if needed, water is refreshed, and floors are
washed. Cleanliness is important for a healthy & fun environment!

Drop off time starts at 7:30 am. Pick up time is 5:00-7:00 pm.
Just
like child daycare, doggie daycare is a place where parents bring
their "kids" for playtime, socialization, and supervision
during the day. Doggie daycare is a wonderful resource for your pet,
benefitting his or her overall health. Playtime stimulates a dog's
senses, mind, and body rather than feeling bored at home alone during
the day. For dogs with boundless energy, daycare is a way to release
it all in a positive manner - and at the end of the day they'll sleep
instead of tear apart your house.
We
also offer half day daycare, especially for newcomers. Half days are
encouraged for dogs who are scheduled for boarding but have never
been boarded before. It gives the dog a chance to "sniff us out,"
get used to the surroundings, and most importantly to understand that
his or her owner will come back for them.
